The Arizona Department of Education has released its school labels for the 2005-2006 school year. Sunnyslope is proud to announce that it has received the highest ranking for the 3rd straight year.

The Sunnyslope Vikings Girls Volleyball team completed its first undefeated regular season by downing the Falcons from Cactus Shadows 25-18, 26-24, 25-18 in the regular season finale.

The Sunnyslope Vikings volleyball team competed in the Millennium Tigers Volleyball Tournament last Saturday coming home with the championship after defeating a fine Parker High team 2 games to 1. 27-29, 25-23, 15-10.

Tuesday, October 3rd, parents were invited to Sunnyslope High School to obtain their personal user name and password to gain access to their child’s records via the “Parent Portal.” If you missed this meeting, come by the high school and pick up an access form. Parents will be able to pick up their forms from the front desk and will need to have a picture ID to show proof of guardianship. If you have any questions regarding the portal, give us a call at 623 915-8760.

Students that are new to Sunnyslope will be registered the week of August 7th - August 11th by appointment only. Appointments may be made by calling the office at 623-915-8760. Students will also be registered beginning August 14th, the first day of school, at 8:00 a.m.

The Sunnyslope High School office will be open for the public on July 17th. New students wishing to register for the 2006-2007 school year may do so beginning July 24th. Current students must attend a walk through registration from August 1st - August 3rd. Any questions regarding the 2006-2007 school year can be answered at 623-915-8760.
