The Boys Basketball team defeated Tempe H.S. 67-52.
After a torrid first half which saw the Vikings ahead at halftime 45-15, the Vikings cooled off in the second half. However, the early lead was too hard for the host Buffaloes to overcome as the Vikings won 62-57. Leading scores were Andrew Hefner with 17 points, TJ Campbell with 14 and Andy Foster with 11. The victory moves the Vikings’ record to 7-3, winning their last four games. The action continues as the Vikings take on the Moon Valley Rockets tonight at home.

The Boys Basketball team defeats Arcadia H.S. 68-35
After a sluggish first quarter, which saw them only score 8 points, the Vikings hoopsters awoke to grab a twenty point lead at halftime. Led by the long range shooting of Andy Foster, the Vikings quickly showed the Titans that the first quarter was a fluke, and finished with a final of 68-35. The Viking scoring attack was led by Foster and TJ Campbell with 13 points a piece and Darrick Flores with 12 points. An all around team defensive showing was also a help to the victory. The Vikings next travel to Tempe H.S. on Monday night to take on the Buffaloes.

Boys Basketball defeats Glendale High School 64-49.
A great defensive effort was put forth by the Vikings to pave the way to victory. Leading by 18 at halftime, the Vikings never looked back, confusing the Cardinals with defensive pressure. Leading scores were T.J. Campbell with 18 points and Andrew Hefner with 13. The Vikings travel to Arcadia Friday night seeking to extend their win streak to 3 games. Tip off is at 7 pm, with the freshman opening up at 4 pm and the J.V. playing at 5:30 pm.

The Boys Basketball team defeated McClintock High School Tuesday night by a score of 67-63.
The athletic McClintock team entered the game with a 3-1 record. The Vikings, behind steller defense and rebounding stopped the Charger attack. A total team effort was put forth by the Vikings. Leading scorers were T.J. Campbell with 20 points and Darrick Flores with 11. The win runs Sunnyslope’s record to 4-3. The Vikings face a tough Glendale team Thursday night at home at 7 pm.
